Thought for the Week
‘And Mary gave birth to her first-born son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths, and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.’
The Lord of all born in a stable with a manger for his bed. Emmanuel, ‘God with us’ not with fanfare and trumpet call but quietly and humbly, as he still comes to hearts that will receive him.

Prayers
Pray that all Christians might be helped to share the Hope, Peace, Joy and Love of Christmas in action right where they are.
Pray for the victims and families of the Bondi Beach shooting in Australia.
Pray for justice and fairness for the Ukrainian people in the talks to end the war in their country.
Pray for safe refuge and a better future for refugees, shelter for the homeless, food for the hungry, and release for those who suffer abuse and violence.
Pray for healing for the sick, comfort for the dying, and peace for the bereaved.

About Us
Our Beliefs
The Holy Bible is the best guide to living. It is the Word of God. We may know God’s presence within and around us through the gift of His Holy Spirit. When we believe in God and in His Son Jesus Christ we shall inherit eternal life.
He is Lord of our lives. The Love of God is freely given to all who will accept it and walk according to His ways. We long to share that love. We come from many different backgrounds in the Kirk. Each of us in our human frailty seeks to worship, trust, and serve God in Christ’s name as best we can. We care about God’s world. We care about you. We will keep a place for you in the Church.
