The Lord upholds the cause of the oppressed, and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free, and gives sight to the blind. The Lord watches over the stranger and sustains the fatherless and the widow.

Modern slavery is all around us and Isaiah reminds us of God’s call to set people free.
